SO gan dong and proud of Singaporeans. Just thinking about what Mr Lee has done for us and reading about you guys encouraging each other and moving so orderly to see Mr. Lee off. Was there on Wednesday and most people are quite nice and orderly too.

Got the 心, whether can complete the queue or not doesn't matter le.

Sg realli cannot plan stuff one. Yog overbudget, now this ****?

No one will be able to predict this turnout. It's amazing how they are adapting to the situation, getting more manpower and logistic items. Food, drinks and all these. It's already efficiency at it's finest. Honestly if I have the opportunity, I would volunteer to help out there...

Just came back from East Coast community site. Felt emo just by looking at ah gong's pictures. I can imagine those at PH will feel even more emo and sad. Sigh. :(

After queue for 1.5 hrs I gave up. People are padang have not moved for 5 hrs!! How could there not be movement except if they dilibrately refused entry from people from that queue

tampines tribute centre at 3am.

crowd has thinned to around 200, so those downtown should consider coming back east instead.

the 5-minute downpour at 2am brought some brief respite, but also made the air very humid. can hear faint distant thunder but otherwise no new sign of rain. people were strolling in again when i left.

saw a signboard inviting residents to attend unnamed event on sat night (7pm to 9:40pm) so can expect big crowd again then. also live telecast there on sun lunchtime.

bringing my parents down to pay respect after breakfast.

Actually they would have done better to close the road around padang instead of diverting human traffic along pathment

They just don't dare to close the road tonight

Agreed, but I think they need the road remained open for sunday's rehearsal

When I was waiting there, it felt so much like in army. It reminded me of my range and route march, it's just wait and wait and wait......

Wait, aren't the organising commitment army?

But people please persist on
