Zoe Tay went twice? Saw in another thread, picture of her being there in the daytime, wearing black top. Now I wonder how many in the queue went more than once...

I went once on the day of LKY procession on 25th. I queued 3 hours from 10.15am. Only managed to do a brief 3 bows and had to leave the hall after a quick glimpse from the right side when people from my group leave and I shifted over to the right side.

Wanted to go a second time but then looks like it's not possible now. If 4-5 hrs maybe still possible but I am alone so queuing 7-8 hrs maybe impossible as I may need to go to the toilet etc..
Should have went yesterday night again instead as most people said the queue was 1-2hrs :(

But then since I have already went and paid my respect, I feel that it's good enough and let others have a chance!!

people exploit the priority queue ish why it ish long. drag one kid who's not interested just to get in that queue..

today they tighten the rules... if u have no business there, don't even go there.

I think the authorities should just cater the priority queue for young children, elderly and handicapped.

those with difficulties, only one accompanying adult allowed.
child below 6, only can parents tag along

some play dirty, maybe bring grandparents, then a whole family of 5 or 6 members join the priority queue

experience it while it lasts.

how come no pics on new citizens and FT paying last respect?

Because it is sometimes quite hard to tell them apart?

Actually there are few articles on TNP/CNA "hinting" they are new citizens saying they used WeChat to coordinate.

Guess 154 don't want to really tell apart FT and Sinkie at this point of time.

However, some schools have arranged ONLY foreigners to visit.

People q to pay respect

Then they remember to 'dirty' the place and leave rubbish behind

They also took opportunities to cut q, whole family with one elderly etc

Not to mention, take 'free' things eg umbrella which is meant for people waiting in line during the day when the sun is out, and it can get very warm

Last but not least, some people are probably asking why q so long no goodie bag?

Please, for once, behave and give the man and this nation the respect they deserve

CNA is now saying, the 2 queues stat from the big junction at Swissotel and SOC. Normal queue, keep left, can't miss it due to the large crowd. Priority queue, keep right and look for usher who will direct you.
