as if those people who follow proper queue are not queuing for a genuine cause?

queue cutting is an uncivilized act, no matter how u put it.

no wonder some sinkie are no different from AT.
Que cutting to get discounted products/freebies, is uncivilized.

Que cutting to pay tribute/last respect (due to urgent time constraint), is understandable.

Celebrities have a schedule, there are periods where they don't have to work and got all the time in the world.

I'm not supporting queue cutting because we always complain foreigners cut queue, but sometimes when you really gotta go, you gotta go.

This is the reason why ppl abuse the queue system, everyone has needs and their time is precious too

I'm not justifying or promoting 'que cutting'.
All i said was 'it is understandable' due to their time constraint and eagerness to pay their last respect to LKY before rushing to their urgent appointments, and i say 'so lets not be too harsh on them'.

And i believe, many of them, infact most of us, do not know we can pay our respect at some CCs until today.

My conclusion: let us not bash those who cut que previously; they did it for a genuine cause. ;)
Queue cutting is such an ungracious act. If you haven't got the time to pay tribute then don't go. It's been reported all over the news time and time again that people can pay tribute at the neighborhood tribute centers since monday. How can they not know?

Come on now, don't play with words. You are obviously putting up a defence for queue cutters.
justifiable:
able to be shown to be right or reasonable; defensible.

come on people, this queue-cutting issue happens in every situation where queues can occur. It's a never ending debate. It's funny we are even debating about this when we all are well aware of both sides of the argument.

In fact those who have urgent matters should know before hand, their schedule are all fixed and their time management is way better, no reason to cut queue

I will say it once again: it is understandable for those who did cut que.
Nowhere did i say i am encouraging people now to go down and 'cut que'.

And I can assure you most people who went to que, even as of today, do not know they can also pay tributes to other Tributes Centre.

I don't play with words, it is some of you who can't understand simple english and the simple message i am sending across: Everyone's intention is to pay their last respect, nobody is there to get some 'promotional feebies' ahead of others.
So Lets have a big heart and not be too harsh on those who cut que previously for this occasion.
:)

Okay enough about queue cutting. Any edmw-ers over there now? Anyone just finished paying respects can report on waiting time?
