Is 65" too big for a viewing distance of 2.7m (9ft)? Planning to wait till end of the year as LG would be launching entry to mid level OLEDs.

RRP for LG 2016 OLED TVs:
G6 Signature 77'' = $41,999 (Available Q3)
G6 Signature 65'' = $12,999 (Available Q2)
E6 65'' = $9,999 (Available Q2)
E6 55'' = $7,499 (Available Q2)
C6 65'' = $8,999 (Available Q2)
C6 55'' = $6,799 (Available Q2)
No.
I am using 75 inch led tv with the same distance u mentioned at 2.7m. Definitely I wont go lower size if i have to replace in future.
The new 2016 OLEDs should be pretty future proof with HDR & Dolby Vision. Whether you wanna pay a premium for them is another thing. Or just go for a cheaper HDR enabled LED TV first until OLED prices tumble. Currently only LG is mass producing OLED & they can control the prices.
