Before I get my 4K, I compared the oled and find that the black is excellent. The color is vivid as it's
stand out from it's excellent black background but the detail shadow on those black patch was masked by the too black nature.

That time, the oled price is still very high.

By the way, I was using a plasma b4 that.

You are talking about the details and not the contrast. No LED TV will win OLED in term of contrast.

For me, i will take the contrast of the OLED TV anytime. Looked sharper than any 4K TV with FHD source.

If u've used plasma, u should know the details can be seen, base on tuning/calibrating ur TV brightness/contrast setting....nothing to do with 4k or FHD.

LG USA has the 65" UHD OLED at US$8999.

Prices for local market will likely be close to S$10,000 at least.

I don't calibrate my TV.

Anyway, I am happy with my 55 inch UHD TV. Wait another 10 years when my TV spoilt, then buy 8K OLED TV.................:s12:

Just converting to SGD at this price is already S$12.1k. And US prices after conversion to SGD also tend to be lower than in Singapore by 20-30%

Using the link below as example. Walmart sells LG's current top UHD model 65UB980T at US$3.8k which is about S$5.1k. BD sells this for 6.2k or 20% more.

LG 65UB9800 65-inch 4K Ultra HD TV - Walmart.com

So minimum should be at least 14k and above

TV in the last decade are more lasting. Nowadays you'll be lucky to get more than 3 years out of it.

Quite true because my mother Samsung TV broke down due to panel coming to the 3rd year of usage and Samsung replaced her a new one because that panel was
eol.

Anyway I think if u get a top model, it's should be better quality and more reliable.

Oh you didn't receive the $300 debit card.

So then the price is $3899, no difference from what I got from Gain City.
