My LG logo light does not turn off when I switch off the main power. Sometimes it stay on for 5-10 minutes and then the lights turn off.

Sometimes, the logo light cut off immediately with the tic-tak sound when I off the main power switch. Anyone here got the same problem as me?

after main power off, the LG logo will be still on for 5-10mins. i still have yet encounter immediate light cut off. when LG logo still on with main power off, if use remote to try to power on, there's a tick tak sound though.

That's the reserve from the power supply capacitor.

Yes. I have try the same before and got the same thing. For my case, the logo light is random. Sometime it will stay on for a while and sometime cut off immediately.

I got another issue with the power button. Sometimes I need to press the power button twice in magic remote to turn on/off the TV. Initially I thought I got a faulty remote and change a new set with LG. Seems that the new remote have the same behavior. I got a Logitech harmony remote control and encounter the same problem. I suspect problem with my TV IR sensor.

Anyone got this issue?

Need help... trying to calibrate the EC930T using the Android THX Tune-up.

When I connect using my Nexus 7 -> Slimport -> HDMI -> TV, the TV can detect the HDMI input (shows PCM status) but basically nothing is projected from the tablet

Is it my HDMI cable issue (using Sony Hi-speed cable)?

That is good to know Bro! Even I got worried.. today is the last day for 1 to 1 exchange in case there is any problem with my TV... So hopefully nothing comes up after today.. :)

Can anyone advise me on the proper picture settings for this TV (EC930T)... I cannot seem to get the best setting for color, sharpness, contrast, etc. Are you guys using one of the Presets like Cinema, game or something? Also I remember seeing something about the trumotion setting... But I cannot find that comment now.. Can anyone advise on that? Thanks Guys! :)

i saw the trumotion setting is at ISF pro 1 picture mode.

Strange ,i don't see any truemotion setting in my oled. Maybe trumotion only applies to LCD tv for gaming.

I did try this setting, however i noticed some subtle white areas on a full black image, i think some setting need to tweak to solve the issue but overall this setting is pretty good, good black with good saturation.
Thanks Bro.. I will try that.. But now with this dead pixel thing.. I am not sure if they will replace for just one red dead pixel! I sure do hope so..

LCD displays typically contain a small number of pixels that do not function normally. Your display has been inspected and is in compliance with manufacturer's specifications, indicating that any pixel defects do not affect the operation or use of you applicable to display. Without prejudice to generality of the foregoing, Dead Pixel not exceeding 7 dots is within factory specification and is not considered a defect under this warranty.

Basically this is a very old rule left over during aged lcd days. I do not think this is acceptable when you pay a few K for a device.

i figure which setting causes the subtle white area on the screen. its the black level setting in the picture adjust mode, i set to high, the white area appear, doesn't give me a perfect black screen in a dark room. when this is set to low, i get a perfect black color screen. so weird.

without tweak, the out of box cinema mode default setting is quite good imo.

I called up the Harvey Norman guys and they called LG guys to send a technician to ensure that there is indeed a dead red pixel..

Lets see what happens next.. I will update you guys about that..

Use such high end oled Tv to watch just free to air program is like a bit waste of $. Suggest you get Pay Tv. May be Margon 5.1 antenna.
