BD is having a pre-order for LG 55EG920V 4K OLED TV @$5059 now

Wow is there a brochure or mailer on this pre-order? Which BD branch and who to speak to?

55EG920V is cheaper than the recently released 55EG960T and also comes with HDR!

Price of the OLED 55" HD model (930) is now 1800 USD internationally. Still about 3600 SGD locally. Should be almost 30% cheaper.

So you think Plasma is better?

Plasma TV definitely better in every aspect
color, brightness, no judder
and can't go 4K cause very very expansive to produce
like CRT 40" max, any higher it weight a ton

Plasma died already

BD Vivo Roadshow

55EC930 FHD OLED = $2,999
Free $100 Best Denki Voucher (Salesman will try to "fight" to help use to offset $2,999 price so you pay $100 less without needing to buy other stuff).

LG Free Gifts
32'' FHD SMART TV (32LF630T)
$150 Choice Voucher (if I recall correctly)

55EG960T 4K OLED = $4,799 (for price comparison)

Display set = 30% off RRP $3,499 (but no freebies).

So which is better OLED or SUHD?

OLED is way better.

SUHD is just a fancy name for standard LCD with LED backlight, and a wider colorspace than sRGB. So it has all the standard issues of LCD.

OLED is much closer and better than the best Plasmas. It's still expensive, and not flat in SG yet. The curved screen is a big negative, but maybe its bearable.

MY take is OLED better. Perfect picture quality and black in depth.
Waiting for the price to drop further then grab.
