Well I certainly fell for Samsung's marketing crap about Nano crystal & blackest black. LOL! $9,000 for a SUHD, I would rather spend that money on an OLED.

Sadly (or fortunately) both my TVs are still ok so no excuse to change. Hopefully by the time it conks, OLED would be more affordable. I have no issues with curved in fact I think its quite nice. I suspect I might be able to afford only the 55" curved OLED, the 65" would be really stretching my wallet.

Can anyone advise how bad is the reflection on the oled tv when it is positioned facing the window?

I own a 65eg960t, do not have it faced towards a window but mirrors at the back of my living room wall (full mirror walls). No reflection whatsoever.

Best TV I've ever owned and netflix really shines.

of course when the tv is off, you will see your own

reflections in it. this applies to all TV, including OLED

vice versa, when it is ON, there will be no reflections.

mrsun don't be silly,
nobody put TV on the floor
:s13::s13:
In case you don't get it, whether it's on the floor, wall or cabinet, the reflection won't go away. Perhaps only those with matte surface won't have reflection.

Here is another one:

The Mi TV 2 is fine now, so will leave it as it is.

Attached is the picture. Got 662 channels. My friend installed this app and got 600+ channels also.

AudioHouse advertising for the 55EA970T at $2,688 with free 32" LED TV, this weekend at Expo.

My understanding is that this is a non-4K model, more similar to the 55EG910T? I take it the 55EG910T is a newer model? Which of the 2 would be a better buy?

Before I bought my OLED I checked all over the place. Best Denki had the worst prices, really bad quotes.

Probably one of those companies that price high and wait for you to ask for discount. Then when you ask they will tell you cannot. Then you walk off and they will tell you okay and give you small discount. Then when you walk off again then they offer you the lowest possible price. I know some companies do that. So if you never do research then good luck to you lor.

I was figuring that out too. According to the description, it seems that oled is for screen brightness (for the tv program) and normal setting is for overall brightness (menus etc).

For me i'm adjusting the OLED brightness settings and power savings to minimum.

Anyone knows what's the best deal(s) on the 55" OLED TVs now?

I went to Best Denki a couple days back ... the current promo now seems to be to have to buy both the EG910T TV + an LG soundbar, to get a subwoofer, $150 voucher and a DVD player. No free smaller LED TV.

Can anyone confirm this is the "official" promo from LG? If it is, it would seem that buying an LG OLED by the end of last December would have been a much better deal :(

The best deal people in here were getting around the end of the year was $2.5k without any freebies. I'm hoping at the very least to match it.
