I am wondering why so many people are worried about the 1 year ban looking at this has one of the worst interest now.

how is that a ban? is just to prevent double dipping which is fair ma.

no different from how banks define as new to bank.

What about not closing the policy/account, but holding the bare minimum allowed? How much is that - S$10?

then you might not benefit from the bonus rate on signup 1 year from now.

Point. That is the issue with "bonus for the first policy year" type of terms.

I am wondering how many people are worried about Elastiq delaying fund payout this month, given that many folks will likely be looking to move their funds out.

What do you mean by point?

I don’t think there are as many ppl as fast to react as you think they might be.

and they are not insulated from the world, they should know what’s happening out there

How does one surrender this policy? Do we request thru email to tiq customer service?

Should I wait until they credit the floating interest first?

I whatsapps Etiqa and they sent me an email to confirm that i want to surrender etc. Need a week or 2 to process.

**Edited. Mine policy is EasyEarn. Sorry for the confusion. 'Pet' might be able to surrender using the apps. My bad.

Surrendering your policy is immediate..

From their FAQ:
You can make a request via Dash app to surrender policy. It will be processed instantly and the funds will be transferred into their Dash wallet (up to individual wallet limit) or Bank account (70 cents fee will apply).

No need to whatsapp them or email whatsoever. Just do it directly via the app.
