You can start RSP this month, provided you do it before 15th. Otherwise would not have any deduction for the current month. Personally prefer money market funds am already familar with hence went that route.
I js tried playing around with it…..For Amova IG Etf don’t even have the choice to select lump sum.
Auto pre-selected RSP and just need to key in $100 amount. (debit on every 15th)

Whereas for Digiportfolio, i can actually choose the RSP debit date.

Also take note that eg. Fullerton SGD fund charges 0.82% sales charge whereas Amova IG etf 0.5%

RSP A35 have upfront 0.5% sales charge. Saveup no sales charge.

Anyway after 12 mths i will switch to Amova IG etf
A35 sales charge plus expense ratio for 12 mths = 0.5% + 0.15% = 0.65%.
Digiportfolio Saveup portfolio fee + fund management fee for 12 mths = 0.25% + 0.26-1.1x%.
Digiportfolio more expensive right?

If I buy an ETF today, will that count next month's eligibility? I read that insurance takes 2 months?

Let me try to ask AI for you:

Initial Recognition Delay: The monthly premium amount is not recognized immediately. It starts being treated as an eligible transaction on the 23rd of the following month after the policy inception date.

Example: If your policy starts on October 1, 2025, recognition begins on November 23, 2025. This means the first month's premium contributes to bonus interest calculation from that date onward.

Duration of Recognition: Once started, it continues every 23rd of the month for 12 consecutive months, as long as the policy remains active and premiums are paid successfully.

For banking related stuff, ChatGpt usually super unreliable hahaha

I even check for branch locations also can give me outdated info (already closed down)

I think if u purchase insurance today (before certain cut off date) should be counted next mth….
The only way to know for sure is to test out the system……call CSO they also blur like me :(

don't disagree that might be the lived experience

I also wouldn't. but there's a difference between seeking confirmation and asking outright.

Example of seeking confirmation...

According to the multiplier FAQ, it says XYZ... can I confirm if that's still the lived experience?

asking what is outright doesn't seem like is seeking confirmation though.

his/her post deleted?
Nope. Perhaps a triggered? HWZ insider and some other users who already know about this “loophole” reported my post to mod. It’s pending moderator review. :)

As you can tell after my post, more lurkers come out to say I spoil market. Jealousy is indeed the name of the game, some ppl just can’t accept the reality.

Quote from the DBS multiplier website: (highlighted key words)

Salary Credit to any DBS/POSB Deposit Account
  • Credit your salary into your DBS/POSB SGD-denominated account via GIRO/FAST/PayNow with transaction code “SAL”/“PAY” or transaction description “SALARY”/“PAYROLL”/“COMMISSION”/“BONUS”
