Hi, I am really new at this. On 30 Sep 2025, under the advice of my newly assigned RM, I joined the 4.5% DBS Treasures Multiplier account promo and brought in $150k on 1 Oct 2025. However, I wasn’t interested in the products that the RM tried to sell me today to qualify for the 4.5%. So, I’m now trying to figure how best I can manage my funds now that I have already brought in the $150k and my RM had put it under the 4 month CASA bonus interest at 1.38%.
I did try to read as much as possible but I’m still rather confused. So, I will really appreciate guidance.
Can I check how can I qualify for the 4.5% interest for Nov and Dec since I cannot meet the 3 cat for Oct?
Here is what I can achieve (sal + 1 cat):
Salary in the form of Interests from SBS and SGX bonds $2k per month
Credit card spend $800 per month
So, in order to meet the sal + 3 cat with total eligible transaction of $30k, do I now:
1. Purchase ABF Singapore Bond Index - SGD - Ydis - Cash (A35) or Amova SGD Investment Grade Corporate Bond Index ETF - SGD - Ydis – Cash via Banking > Invest > Unit Trust
Enter $100 for monthly investment amount?
2. Invest $30k Savvy Endowment for 3 years through DBS website by 20th of the Oct for qualify the insurance cat for Nov and repeat again with another $30k by 20th of Nov to qualify insurance cat for Dec:

I do realise that $60k investment is a heavy commitment. So, wondering what other options that are available? Thanks.
A normal Multiplier account only needs a $5k endowment, and that will qualify the insurance cat for the next 12 months. Is Treasures Multiplier different?
If you have already set up a DBS Vickers online trading account, the buy trades should also count towards the investment cat, and there are both bonds and MMF ETFs listed on SGX. The commission for upfront trades is min $10/0.12%. You can use the SGX ETF screeners and filter by Fixed Income under Asset classes. I believed there are only two counters with the MM wording and only one in SGD. You can do further research as to whether that is truly an MMF if you are looking for those very short-term ones. On the sell side, if you really want to save every cent, I think there is a broker which offers fixed sell comm under 10 dollars.
