As a general rule, annual fees no longer need to be paid if you cancel the card since they are payable in advance.

Hey guys, for DBS world woman cc, is it true if spending below $25k will be imposed with annual fee? even if u cancel the card.

To enjoy free membership from the second year and for every year thereafter, simply charge a minimum of S$25,000 to DBS Woman’s World MasterCard® Card each Card Year and have your annual fees waived. If the minimum spend criteria of S$25,000 is not met or if the Card is cancelled within each year of the Principal Cardmember’s Card opening date, an annual fee of S$192.60 (Principal Cardmember) and S$96.30 (Supplementary Cardmember) where applicable, will be imposed.

There are 2 types: 1 with world and 1 without. Presume the world is better?
Also is there any minimum spend required to clock the 10x points?

Yes the world one better ie 10x points for online spend, instead of 5x points.

No minimum spend, 10x points for maximum online spend of $2000 per month

Yup that is what we all know. But if the bank refuse to cancel your card until u pay the annual fee, where can we escalate that? To fidrec or mas or somewhere?

Probably need to first look at that specific card T&Cs to see if perhaps, it goes against the norm and provides that they can impose annual fees prospectively as an accrued debt.

EDIT: A similar thread discussing this is here: http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/c...ual-fee-before-allow-cancel-card-5046353.html
