$2000=4000points=5.8 ntuc vouchers of $10 each
which is 58/2000=2.9%

Can it be calculated like this? Not very attractive compared to live fresh 5%?

$2000=4000points=8000 miles, valued at roughly 5cents each if you redeem for business/first tickets, worth about $400 in total, 400/2000=20%.

it can also be calculated like this, which is more attractive compared to live fresh 5% :D

redeeming points for vouchers/cash rebates are seen as inferior to redeeming for miles, or even using a cashback card. the ratios are usually quite bad :s22:

To one who is not intending to go overseas, redeeming miles only makes that person spend more on overseas accomodation, transport, dining, entertainment, etc

The point is there are cases where not redeeming miles is better in the financial sense.

in which case a cashback card like scb singpost that gives 7% for online shopping would be better, no? :D

Hi everyone,

May I know if this card is used for online shopping but payment is made via PayPal, will it still be eligible for 4 miles per dollar?

I notice T&C stated that payment service providers are not eligible for it.

Comfort Masterpass

Do we still need to dispute the Comfort Masterpass bonus points by sending in our receipts?

CSO just got back and topping up Skype still get 4 miles. Was informed 9x points was manually calculated and sometime they may calculate wrongly. They credited back the shortfall to my account.

Sent from LGE LG-H961N using GAGT

Yeah my Uber rides were not credited with the 9x points as well after they did a check. They have credited it manually. Gotta thank the CSOs.

Which transactions do we need to call up DBS to manually credit 9x points every month? I know previously i had to do it for comfort masterpass and grab. If so, i rather charge to other card like HSBC Revolution where I can confirm get 2 miles without having to track the points.

That's terrible... i called the call centre and the CSO assured me that the points would credit properly. I did a manual check and found that it wasn't so. Had to call again and they said they'd calculate and call me back.

By the way, does FEVO still qualify for the 10x online retail spend category?

Thanks!

The CSO called back to say that they'll credit the missing 9x points from the last few months. I didn't have to submit my receipts...which is good, since i didn't bother keeping.
