Got a shock of my life when DBS said all Paypal transactions are excluded in T&C since June 2017
Didn't know that, and not successful in appealing..

I was advised that for any retail websites, if there are various options to make payment, don't choose paypal method if I want to use the Woman's card to get 10X.

Any other card that I can pay for SGD Paypal transactions with 3-4mpd?

Really?? I didn't know that as well, and it isn't specifically stated in their latest T&Cs.

Maybe can try UOB PPV..

Yup CSO said cant find it in public TnC, but on their end PayPal is excluded.. the public TnC can be so specific in excluding ipaymy etc why can’t just put PayPal to avoid confusion..

This is weird. My paypal transactions made in July (for ebay, redmart, foodpanda, airfrov) were awarded 10x according to the breakdown provided by the bank.

I did my own calculations instead of asking them for points breakdown and am sure that I got the bonus points for all of the paypal (redmart, foodpanda, uber) transactions made in Sep as well.

Did you check with the same CSO twice? Maybe she is unclear of the t&c.

btw UOB PPV dont award 10x for paypal transactions.

i don't think it is right for them to exclude Paypal especially when many sellers/merchants are using it in this time and age. they just need to differentiate those that's P2P from B2P. B2P should be counted based on the MCC

you should double check/dispute with another CSO, that CSO might be wrong.

I've escalated to this CSO's boss, sent relevant documents to his direct email.. to no avail.

What did you pay for using Paypal? Was it to purchase some retail item? I'm worried as well... it is really unfair if they do not award points for retail purchases.

Qoo10, rainbowcare.com.sg and some online shopping sites my wife used to buy clothings. I run a business, some of my overseas suppliers will bill me via Paypal (in SGD) for the products I get from them, so I basically I just click on the Paypal link they sent.

Reminiscing the fuss free days of HSBC Advance when they give 4mpd for Paypal.

I seems now have to go and recalculate all points starting from Feb (several hundred transactions) to see how much discrepancy is there and I did have several paypal transactions in sep-oct.

On public T&C, it's not stated that Paypal is excluded. But on DBS's side, their own backend T&C says Paypal is excluded.

I don't buy this argument. With this approach I can take from you a loan of 100K and say it in paper and then create another paper saying that I don't own you anything.

i stand by the opinion that if it's not in the T&C, they're not legally right to dishonour the paypal transactions. DBS hwz acct peeps, we know you're looking at this. do the right thing.

anyone else with paypal lately? can confirm if it was awarded or not? i haven't used paypal on this lately so cannot help to confirm.

Day license purchase for OPC Car via onemotoring - has points

I didnt read the fine print from the their latest T&C.....but i did get a letter from the bank stating the Uber and Telco (singtel, starhub, etc) will not be awarded with points.

i did call the bank just yesterday.
the thing is i use paypal to pay for Uber. but dumb Uber state their name in the paypal transaction, and then DBS doesnt reward points.

Correct me if I am wrong, Vbox is actually SAM now? SAM clearly excluded from points.

When you got the letter stating the Uber and Telco (singtel, starhub, etc) will not be awarded with points? These were not excluded when the TnC changed in may and Jul.
