Just rcv bank SMS alert this morning that I got 2 uber transactions in AUD. Called the bank immediately and CSO said got a few uber transactions in GBP as well but somehow I never received the sms. (My sms threshold limit is at $0.01)

2 weeks ago my Singpost card got an unauthorized transaction on Apple online Singapore as well. But the Singpost card usually I only used for curing my fever once month. The last few none fever transactions was in July (1 uber transaction) and in May (a dozen of uber transactions and 1 Marathon payment).

I guess uber really has some security breach issue. I immediately removed all the credit cards in uber account and only left Android pay.

Just want to check, is Android pay secure to be used in Uber, comparing to use credit card directly?

When you got the letter stating the Uber and Telco (singtel, starhub, etc) will not be awarded with points? These were not excluded when the TnC changed in may and Jul.

my SIngtel prepaid top up still awarded with additional 9x point for October transaction

i don't think it is right for them to exclude Paypal especially when many sellers/merchants are using it in this time and age. they just need to differentiate those that's P2P from B2P. B2P should be counted based on the MCC

you should double check/dispute with another CSO, that CSO might be wrong.

I just found out over 90% of my spending via Paypal not entitled on 10X, its too troublesome to check or dispute with DBS, so i will pay with Woman`s card directly for all online transaction in furture

Anyone noticed that DBS's secured message system no longer allows you to input into the text fields to ask your question? It is only limited to multiple choice selections such as fee waivers, cancel card, change pin etc.

I thought that as long as the merchant MCC is in the correct category, even if the transaction is routed through Paypal, can still get 10X ??

lol it seems DBS already fed up with people always ask for breakdown of point via ibanking. It seems backward move considering DBS is bank that always give response in ibanking message promptly

Called last Saturday, they no longer accept itemized spending requests.. but the CSO went through with me over 20mins all the transactions for the past 4 months and identified which are eligible.
