Just bought two pieces of iPad mini retina from apple Sg store online using the dbs wmc.

If for some reason dbs doesnt give me my 10x points for this purchase.....

I'm gonna be very very sian and angry

Not really. I have had more problems with DBS not crediting the miles correctly.

Keep in mind that if it's a flight ticket that costs $2,500 for instance then you're still better off paying with the Woman's card and getting 4 miles/$ on the first $2k than using any other card.

The points I calculated seems to be less than what is in my account. I've never used the card to swipe so should only be eligible for 1x or 10x points. Probably some transactions were counted differently than the 1x or 10x..

Well, if you use the formula to round down to $5 then multiple by 10 to get the points, you will find that its not correct. DBS women seem to award points even for those less than $5 portion. I don't have enough transactions to confirm but i have seen bonus points more than 3600 in a statement. If the monthly limit is $2000 then i should receive more than 3600 bonus point in 1 statement. If its really in multiple of $5 then i should not get the few points more than 3600.

Actually the earned/adjust column accounts for all the points earned in a month. So a limit of $2000 would equate to a maximum of 4k points max in that column. The bonus 9x and normal 1x points are added together in that column.

Sorry if i am not clear. I spend $2000 last month so i should get 400 points, normal 1x points. The month before i spend slightly more than $2000 and the total came up to be 4003 points last month so definitely the bonus points given is 3603 since the normal 1x points should not be more than 400 points. So that why i said the 9x points doesn't seem to be capped at 3600.

Wow you are the first that I heard of the rejection this way! But I guess this must mean that they are upping up their checks.

No, your gender does not matter. At least the according to the CSO I spoke to last time. Maybe it's because they tighten the credit / income checks. Call and ask.

The earned/adjusted potion consist of 1x points for spending from 15th Oct - 14 Nov and 9x points for spending for the calender month of September that was credited on 16th Oct and counts towards this statement.

So technically, if u spend 2k in the month of September, you would earn 3600 points. if u were to spend the 2k limit for oct between 15th - end of oct that gets u another 400 points for this statement. And another 400 points if u spend the 2k limit for nov before 14th nov.

Maximum for the earned/adjust column every month is then 4.4k points.

No, he is just saying that the calculation of points is different from statement date and you might end up with 4400 on 1 month and 3600 on the other month even if spending is consistent at $2k a month. Don't just extract a portion to read and lose the whole meaning of the post.
