great.... pls note there is a cross border transaction fee on fevo.
Cross Border Conversion 1.50% of transaction amount

Charge Table | FEVO Card

that means every $1000 is $15 super expensive!!!!

no wonder my paypal cant go thru

No charge if you order from the online Apple store in SGD, right?

No, he is just saying that the calculation of points is different from statement date and you might end up with 4400 on 1 month and 3600 on the other month even if spending is consistent at $2k a month. Don't just extract a portion to read and lose the whole meaning of the post.

Probably best to ensure your monthly statement cut-off date is after the 16th, and then do the full 2k spend each month after that date. That way when you get your statement the following month it will always have the full 10x points credited.

That depend on where is Apple processing the orders. From my experience, its from local store so should not have extra charges from cross borders.

So is the cross-border charge literally for overseas purchases or for payments in foreign currencies?

DBS for instance classifies local spend as SGD transactions and foreign spend as all transactions in other currencies. But then this isn't DBS...

cross border charge is for SGD charge in non-SG locations. Foreign currency charges are non-SGD charges. Local spend has no meaning because it can be within borders or cross borders which will incur extra charges.

so basically for this card to be 100% sure to receive the full 10x points, full 2k spend must be done within half a month, if the monthly statement cut-off date is on the 16th?

for eg. statement cut off is dec 16th. to make sure to get 10x points for full 2k spend, the spend for dec must be within dec 1-16th or dec 17-31?

TIA!

You can always get the 10x points, just a matter of waiting time.

If you spend Dec 17-31, you can see the extra 9x posted in 16th of Jan, waiting time is less than 30 days.
If Dec 1-16, you still have to wait till 16th of Jan, waiting time is more than 30 days.

2K cycle is based on calender month, has nothing to do with your statement cut-off date.

Remember some bro mentioned no 10x points were given to purchase on Apple online store. Not sure whether it is still the case.

Thanks for clarification. I saw one bro upload one Excel file, which I can't locate that post now, to summarize whether major online merchants qualify for 10x points by DBS Woman Card and UOB PPV. I remember in that Excel, DBS Woman can't get 10x at Apple Online store, but UOB PPV can. I am looking for the clarification since I only have DBS Woman, but not UOB PPV.

iPhone 5s :) why $1k is threshold ?

Because if you're going for the 16GB version then you can top up a prepaid Imagine card using the DBS Woman's card, get your 10x points, and then use that card to make the purchase. Problem is the card has a maximum balance of $1,000 at any one time.

I don't think there has been anyone that have been able to verify that they have got the 10x points for topping up either the Amex imagine or m1 fevo card thus far. Most I have asked have only topped it up in nov and will only be able to confirm on 16 dec.

Thus it would be a better choice to stick with the woman's card as it has been verified as eligible for 10x points.

Please stop encouraging more ppl to use ezlink prepaid card in this forum any more...
I will use the prepaid card only when the transaction is offline.
