Best to have your CC statement date after the 16th, so like the 20th for instance. Then you wait until after your statement date and make the full $2,000 spend before the end of that calendar month.

Monthly statements will then show full miles being awarded.

Mine is the 14th, even worse! Have to manually check via ibanking every time, in order not to mix up with other retail purchases points.

Just make your spend after that date and before the end of the month so that your next statement will show full points.

Not really, we just move our regular spend to this card... or rather to the Imagine/Fevo cards via the WWMC.

So basically it's just pre-paying future spend...

If you are using WMC for a spend of $750, you won't see 750 points. You will see $750*2 = 1500 points. 1 pt = 2 miles.

You spend $750, you do not get 750 points....

750 / 5 = 150 points
(rounded, so if your spend amount is $743, typically only can use 740 / 5, and not 743 / 5)

Multiply by 10 (9x bonux points)

= 150 x 10 = 1500 total points.

Typically is you will get 150 points (1x) first, then next statement after 16th -- you will get your 1,350 points (9x).
