Anyone tried doing medisave contributions through cpf e-cashier and earned 10x points?

nvr tried. I know someone using cash to top up SA for CPF minimum sum, but not sure what is the purpose and benefits to top up MA, other than SA. can share?

Well for self employed it is mandatory to make contribution to your medisave account. If it was not necessary, I wouldn't want to waste the cash dumping into cpf. Theres a transaction cost of about 1.5% when using card to pay via cpf ecashier but the 10x points can easily give a higher rate of return

Yes. Tried and tested. Best contribute $1k each time to maximise the $15 fee incurred. Everything ONLINE earns 10x.

1 tip - For people buying stuff at Courts, you can buy the gift card online for 10x points and then use the gift card to purchase things at courts.

I understand the DBS points earned are as follows:

1) $1 spending = 1 DBS point
2) $1 online spending = 10 DBS points
3) $1 foreign currency spending = 3 DBS points

What if I the spending was an online purchase in foreign currency? Which would I earn for $1 spent?

1) $1 foreign currency online spending = 10 DBS points?
OR
2) $1 foreign currency online spending = 3 DBS points?
OR
3) $1 foreign currency online spending = 13 DBS points?

I posted this question to DBS as well, pending official feedback.

meaning 10 dbs point.

No.

Foreign currency is converted to SGD, then $1 SGD = 10 DBS Points.

All points are always calculated based on SGD.

Calendar month. And the 9x bonus points for Jan will only be posted on the 16th of the next month, ie Feb.

The additional 9X DBS Points are only applicable to the first S$2,000 online retail spend every calendar month.
