Hi all, noob here and have just received my card on the 15th. There is a $100 rebate if I can spend $500 for the first month. Does it mean that I am only left with 2 weeks from the time i received my card to hit the $500?

seems like they did some major revamp to their system. My SQ expedia transaction was not caught by the system and have to go through CSO to get the points

Log in internet banking and send them a message. Just tell them Expedia should be online.

By the way, there is a promotion ongoing, 6 miles per dollar spent on Expedia for dbs altitude visa, so should use that card first.

can i just ask for the 10x points @ $2,000 cap per month, if I got my wwmc on the 11 June, will it reset on 1st July? Have a big purchase close to 2k at first week of July so wondering if I should risk as i have spend about 75% of the $2k so far in June.

By calendar month. If you receive card on the 30th june, you only got 30th June to maximise June bonus 10x of S$2k.July will be a fresh new S$2k.

Yes, it follows calendar month. Every month 2 k max.
For your case, should just spend it in July.

That is weird to me because dbs live fresh, this is obviously not auto, but for dbs woman's, they put auto. Perhaps miles at banks side isn't worth as much as what we thought, their cost is much lower than 2 cents per mile(my own valuation based on sq dates). Perhaps only 0.x cents per sgd, that's why they are more generous.

The cost to purchase miles from banks will never be 2cpm because the banks are selling you at roughly the same rate.

True, dbs selling at 1.925 cents per mile for both dbs altitude visa and Amex. wonder how much they earn from it.

Charge a minimum of S$15,000 or S$25,000 each year to DBS Woman's Card or DBS Woman's World Card respectively to receive the annual fee waiver for the following year. If the minimum spend criteria is not met or if the Card is cancelled within each year of the Principal Cardmember's Card opening date, the annual fee will be imposed.

Does this mean from second year onwards, if I am unable to waive the annual fee and terminate the card, stil need to pay the annual fee

Dbs very easy to waive as long as you have some spending.
