Purposely end chat then when u initiate chat again, repeat story. Then purposely end chat again so u TL and F off.

First, they removed the free text messaging system and force you to use their live chat.

Second, their robots could understand nuts and just brush you off. Super waste of time. "I missed that. Rephrase it, please?" "Apologies. Try me again." :vijayadmin:

Third, you think you are in luck when you finally got a human to reply you, and while you are in the midst of typing (they clearly know that since it would show as "... is typing"), they close the conversation channel and assume you are done. Last reply to you and closing the channel, all under a minute!! CSO April Diane, i know it's 12:02am already but i haven't finished talking leh. Anyhow close my channel cos you wanna knock off already? CSO where can be so rude one? But i thumbs up to you for being so "prompt" in "clearing" customer's queries..... and to DBS Bank, way to go yo!

Cross fingers: Hope that Citibank comes out with more 20x points promos for shopping online..... One can self service in verifying the credited points and don't have to be so poor thing talk to robots or see which CSO pity you then talk to you and doesn't chase you away.

do you mean there's $5 rounding if spending is offline?

For online spend in SGD, you get 1x points first then 9x points next month 16th.

For the 1x point calculation, take the $18, $24, $21 for example.

18×0.2=3.6, rounddown = 3
24×0.2=4.8, rounddown = 4
21×0.2=4.2, rounddown = 4

The simple way to count 9x points is:
(sum of all online transactions)×2 - 1xpoints then rounddown.

ok got it. That means offline spending still follow the $5 rounding rules like livefresh last time

one more thing: what about the 3x points for overseas spending? Does it follow the $5 rounding rule, or the 9x point rule?

Just tested that 3x points overseas spend is given immediately, amount is simply spending/5x3, then round down to the nearest whole number. The associated bank transaction fee is not awarded points though.

Hi. Is it possible to check via DBS website if a transaction made qualifies for the additional 9X bonus points (i.e. retrospective check)?

Note down the points balance on 15th. Then check on 16th. The difference should equal 9x or 7x (foreign ccy) for prior calendar month.
