Do the online purchases have to be instant with securecode used to verify them?

What about seemingly online purchases like Expedia that aren't instant and don't require the code, even though they are done online. Will the system treat them as internet transactions that qualify for the bonus miles?

I know they cut the old scheme where people could top-up Fevo to get the 4 miles/$ (and then use Fevo for the actual spend), but are there any other similar prepaid cards that would work with the WWMC and generate the bonus?

Nope...TnC stated...

Online spend” refers to retail transactions for goods and services made via the Internet and processed by the
respective merchants/acquirers as an online transaction through Visa/MasterCard Worldwide networks, excluding the
following transactions:

k) Any top-ups or payment of funds to payment service providers, prepaid cards and any prepaid accounts
(including EZ-Link, NETS FlashPay and Transit Link);

Question to ask....I tried searching this thread and got different answers or uncertain replies... :s22:

Bought something from Lazada app on 9/9 sales and saw it was posted on the same day in my online banking...However I do not see the 1X points being posted on the next working day... :s22:

So wondering if anyone recently used this to buy stuffs from Lazada app?!? or do I have to use the website version to get the points?

Or should I just dispute it with the CSO and ask what's going on?

Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 days after posting. Btw the transaction need to be more than $5 to get the 1x points.

actually DBS is quite kind... any amount less than 5 dollars they will give 1 point. Took uber in south Africa and they awarded 1 point for each ride below $5 dollars and above $1

Spending in foreign currency different, get 3x points first, so can get 1 dbs points for every $1.67. Then next month 16th get the 7x points for online spending.

how do you know that it was posted on 9th?

I thought only transaction date is shown, at least in the App.

DBS doesn’t show the real status of the transaction like Citi. The record in online banking could be pending merchant confirmation. Always wait for 3-4 business days, not calendar days.

so does that mean for fcy online spending the minimum sum to get points is $1.67?

Hi, got a quick question

am thinking to apply for this card. currently only earning points on altitude and citi pm.

for WWMC, basically i will just use for all online transactions (not all based on google spreadsheet)

while for physical or overseas i still continue to use altitude/pm?

also, for WWMC since it expire in 1 year, are the points pooled with altitude points? if so how to track if they are expiring?

Your bill will show you the number of points that will be expiring by the end of each quarter.

for the 3x points, need min $1.67 spending. Even if below $1.67 still can get the x7 points, calculated based in total transactions in the month.

Not all online trans WWMC will earn points..best to read the TNC for exclusions, look at the crowdsourced spreadsheet and search in this topic to see if there was past attempts by users here/stories before charging your WWMC to it..

And yes DBS pools points earned across diff cards..but Altitude doesnt expires like Citi PM..Cant comment on how to track expiry cos I just only got the card a few mths back..LOL..

points are pooled. can check expiry of points on each card on DBS reward website. points that expire first will be redeemed first when doing redemption.
