Does this card still award max points for online EZ-link topups or are they excluded?
It still should. Or we can wait for someone who had tried it recently.

Anyone else having trouble getting a 6pm.com transaction treated as online shopping?
Also, are online Apple store purchases going to get extra miles?

Someone help me out here as either I'm getting things wrong or DBS' accounting is dodgy to say the least:
Current balance: 4311 points
Only one transaction in the last statement cycle to the tune of $3,867.00
So should be 773 base points and 6,957 additional awarded on the 15th of the following month.
Because this transaction was in late Sept and my monthly cycle ends in the second half of Oct, I should see all my points in the upcoming statement awarded for this transaction.
Instead I see just 4,373 awarded to bring the total to 8,684 points. How did they get to this number? I mean seriously, just one transaction in an entire statement period and things look messed up?

Hi everyone, sorry a noob question as I'm thinking of getting the card - what's the miles to $ ratio if I'm using this card for online travel-related payments? and is it good for Krisflyer and also Star Alliance airlines in general?
Do take note that the redemption rate is 10k DBS points for 20K KF miles. You'll have to accumulate 10K blocks for redeeming before expiry.
within a year ?![]()
Yes, meaning $5k spending within 15 months. Although its stated as a year but they actually only track to a quarter so points earn in Jan 2013 expire in Mar 2014. So you have to spend $340 a month.
oooo okok, you are the guru
i just cancelled my recurring singtel/m1 bills to switch them over to this card, so i just spend min $340 i'll be safe right ?
Assuming that spending is only for transactions generating extra points. If not - spending needs to be more.So you have to spend $340 a month.

This is the reason I decided not to get the card. While my ezlink spending is appx $200-$250/mo and phone bill is appx $120-$150 on average, the phone is corp one and I can't pay online - it has to be either ASX (no point, pun intended) to setup recurring payment and that won't generate enough points. There are appx $250-$300 more expenses - SP Services and some misc expenses but I think still won't be enough to generate sufficient number of points.
Please correct me, if I am wrong.
