Yeah better do a comparison first. And Agoda has this auto DCC in place so do be careful.
Nowadays everytime I book an SPG hotel, I always do a Best Rate Guarantee (BRG) claim. Been quite successful with it. (^_^)b
Yes I got caught with the auto DCC earlier this year on Agoda. Luckily the hotel was reimbursed by my company.
you can always switch to local currency on Agoda.
yay! got the CC liao... very nice design
Spent: $1,553.41
Points 310
From the statement:
Note: bonus points have not posted yet.
310 points is like 0.2 points per $. Is this the right ratio?
what is the expiry for points from DBS Woman's card? one year?
Gurus, can someone enlighten me on the points awarding system. Are the points awarded in this way:
Date Transaction Made Points Awarded the next day
8 Jan $53.5 = 10 DBS points
8 Jan $42.02 = 8 DBS points
9 Jan $10 = 2 DBS points
a. Points Awarded on 16th of Next Calendar Month= [($53.50 + $42.04 +$10)/ 5] x 9= 189.972 DBS points.
b. Total Points Awarded for the above 3 transactions = (10 +8+ 2) + 189 =209 DBS points
Thanks!

Thanks!
SUM(9 * TRUNC($transaction/5))
So if transaction is $53.50, you need to divide it by 5 first and remove decimal part. So you will have 10.7 points and you need to use 10 points to multiply it by 9.
That's an interesting way to calculate, did it match your statement?
