The other forum member was trying to help you. If you let him know which date and how much you charged to your DBS WMC and your statement cut off date, he can help you to verify that you do have missing points. Because the awarding of points by DBS on the WMC is not straightforward. There is a cap of 2K spending for the 10x pts per CALENDAR month (not statement month). And the 1x pts and 9x pts come in at different times. If you spend in the beginning of the calendar month before your cut off date, the 9x pts don't come in until the 16th of next month. And if your cut off date is before the 16th, you may not see your 9x pts until 2 statements later. For example, if you spent on 2nd Jan and your statement date is 12th of the month. The 9x will not come in till 16th Feb. Your statements in Jan and Feb will not show it.

yup, i do understand one forum member is trying to help me, i am really grateful for his help.

but just look at other forum member, instead of helping they just being sarcastic and blame me saying that i am spoilling market.

i come to this forum for advice. :(

i believe we should be helpful.

just dont understand you ppl. if points not tally,of course call cso to ask.

JUST BY CALLING IN IS CONSIDERED AS SPOILLING MARKET?

read up on the uob one card when ppl complained that rebate is missing. its the bank who forget to credt in.

allow me to explain.

there are things that the bank should not exclude and deny us what we deserve. but knowing how chao kuan they are, once they know something that they can deny, they will deny. cos they are chao kuan.

so if there are such things that are going well for others, and if u miss out for a month, and if u call in, not only u wont get it, the bank will also look into it and make sure everyone dun get it in future, including u.

forget it, just look at how many un-constructive and sarcastic remarks.

u got to tahan that if u know less and need help from others who know more than u but cant put it in nicer manners to u.

but if i got rejected for annual fee waiver and cancel the card to avoid the fee, the miles will be gone rite?

Yes. As such, you have to redeem the miles / points first before you initiate the card closure.

I have never known Citibank to reject a request for annual fee waiver even when I spent nothing on the card and did not have any $$$ in their bank. They are one of the "friendliest" banks.

helo folks, got a question.

assuming i am holding 2 DBS cards, say womans + altitude:

1) my woman's card has earned 1,000 points
2) my altitude card has earned 2,000 points

say, annual fee is charged for my woman's card. if i call to cancel the card (assuming they don't waive it), do the 1,000 points disappear? or because they have already been earned, it goes into the common pool and i still have access to it since i have other DBS cards (altitude card still active).

thanks much.

The points are tag to the individual card even though they can be redeem together. If you go to DBS rewards page, you can see the points for each individual card and the expiry are base on the terms and condition of each card. For example the altitude points will never expire while those from woman's card will. If you cancel the card, the points will be wiped off.
