posb everyday card vs dbs yuu card. which one is better? still considering if really worth the trouble to apply for the yuu card :o

is the annual fee that make me think twice to apply. very troublesome need to remember to go waive annual fee and risking bank not going to waive

For now, the card is only good for 3 months till 31th Jan with the launch promo and only if you spend in the targeted merchant. The best example will be spending $400 per month in Giant with 3 transaction of more than $80.

Base point = 5 x $400 = 2000
Monthly launch bonus = 3 x 800 + 5200 = 7600
Total = 9600 (equal to $48)

rebate = $48/400 = 12%

found following statement in the Yuu T&C: https://yuu.sg/terms-and-conditions
" In general, Points cannot be earned or accumulated in relation to any cash voucher or gift card you purchase at a Participating Outlet. "
how are they be able to differentiate normal goods and vouchers?

So mafan, have to let vendor to scan during payment, additional steps
During morning go toastbox, everyone rushing to works u still scan the apps here and there
This is the reason I'll be cancelling my DBS card after so many years.
So inefficient, going backward.

Got a Yuu card to get the cashback upon spending $500. Is there any good reason to keep this card after that? Looks like the Yuu points bonus is quite generous if you spend more than $600 a month?

The CC application page only shows me the visa card and not the amex card. How to get the amex card?

Seems like a pain. Think I'll just meet the min spend, get the cashback, then cancel. Usually are there minimum periods (e.g. 6 month after receiving the card) where you cannot cancel the card or there'll be a penalty?

I terminate my POSB CC and get Yuu card instead.

5% cash rebates with no min spend for partners (Giant) which is near my house.

When I go Giant and after checkout all items in self-service counter, the screen will prompt if you want to use the Yuu points to offset purchase
