Debloating Android phone

anyone debloated your android phone?

I used Canta & Shizuku to debloat my xiaomi 13t pro, i find my phone is more responsive and battery can sustain very long time.

Removed all of Xiaomi's telemetrys, ad services, google bloatwares,

After debloating, singpass, bank apps, my corporate work apps still works.

PSA: For those doing, pls ensure you check and google before removal, safer to filter recommended in the Canta list then remove to avoid bricking phone, do not remove critical apps.

I realise i have 200+ apps in the phone.
Even if buy a new phone, the data transfer over, it will be the same.

no ah, debloating mean completely removing, i realised that xiaomi alot of ads and background apps sucking cpu and battery liao.

unless is open their own File Manager, Gallery etc then got ad

so far no, but xiaomi/google related telemetry keeps taking ur phone info n pass to their servers, so far my battery life has improved alot from what i see.

xiaomi/redmi/poco very famous for this kinda bloat since day 1.

i stopped using them - life got better things to do, than to keep debloating phones (update will get new ones, and even restore the previously debloated apps). and no, not proposing using something like GrapheneOS
