anyone debloated your android phone?

I used Canta & Shizuku to debloat my xiaomi 13t pro, i find my phone is more responsive and battery can sustain very long time.

Removed all of Xiaomi's telemetrys, ad services, google bloatwares,

After debloating, singpass, bank apps, my corporate work apps still works. 😺
dont forget to use private dns adguard

My poco F6 don't have ads popping up. I'm aware there are extra apps but doesn't feel laggy. In fact my past pixel tensor more laggy without bloat

My Vivo low-end budget phone always receive detection alerts from my antivirus app. I suspect Vivo doing fishy things in the background. Going to replace it with a stock Android phone when I'm ready.

Canta and Shizuku which one better?

I want to use it to remove the annoying notifications from the GetApps on my Poco.

i dunno about other brands, i used it for xiaomi 13t pro. Need to work together, Canta is the main app to remove the items, google before removing else u can brick ur phone.

shizuku is to enable canta to work.

-Install Canta
-Install Shizuku
Settings->Developer options
1. Enable wireless debugging-> Pair device with pairing code &choose shizuku
(Install UBS Debugging (Security Options) != USB Debugging)

after all done then goto canta and do the necessary. After all done, undo the settings wireless debugging n usb debugging so that the singpass can work again.

i did not remove everything below, for eg calculator i keep, the xiaomi music i remove cos too many ads. after removing, xiaomi completely ads free and battery life doubled! :D

It's been a long time since i last used Xiaomi phones, so i might recall incorrectly. I seem to remember back then, use enabling usb debug, install usb drivers, from pc launch adb to remove the apps (command line). Guess life is more complicated now.

it was redmi note 3. each MIUI update, added ads. Initially used titanium backup to disable the rogue apps and MSA, finally, one update caused ads even in settings app!!!! that was the final straw, and the last Xiaomi phone i used.

edit: i used the same method to remove bloatware on samsung s2 and s3.

you are right, using the PC connect using usb debut then adb. however when u using shizuku, its wireless adb, ie i dont need to connect to PC or install any of those adb. its all done on phone. hence more convenient.
