Yes started and the best part is they(HSBC) over pay the balance. Very stupid of them...now how am i going to claim back the over payment when the account is suspended? Think they use the 2 months ago statement which we submitted figures to settle. During the waiting period, we will be still making paying and they(HSBC) don't know....:s22:

After they repaid everything . Cancel the cards and credit line, they will mail you the cheque for remaining balance if I'm not wrong. Call the banks up and ask them how to claim

It's not an issue, you can call the banks and ask them to give you back the balance. I don't want these accounts anyway, so I will be closing them once Citi pays everything off for me.

Cash and Debit Card from now on.

Btw good that u made payment. Else they will charge late fee and ur rating will sink. Don't forget, the buffer to cover the side costs is still your money.

Got consider going to CCS as an alternative ?

It might be another week of endless hope. If next week they ask for more docs then there will be more waiting time to come. Suddenly felt low morale and hopeless after being told in processing. Time is running out

Citi accounts all cleared. The CC is now overpaid so will ask for a refund on the balance.

The new Ready Credit account for DCP is cleared too - the entire amount that's supposed to go to other banks.

They certainly work fast. 👍 to them.

After failing HSBC & BOC. Hope of getting approved seems like almost impossible. Wil probably try one more and see.

Wonder which one shd i try
Citibank / maybank/ cimb/ standard chartered.

Any suggestions ?

Not local banks for sure.

Cimb requires you to be an existing cardholder.

SCB rate similar to Citi. Can try Citi ba. Unless you have DBS loan.

Seems like not many in this thread tried Maybank yet.

I'm considering may bank though. There is a declaration part stating that u must be informed application unsuccessful from other Fi then can apply. I wonder will there be any penalty if apply 2 at a time

If they have that criteria then better stick to it. Cuz they have the option of canceling the DCP, even after the DCP is approved, if they find out that proper procedure was not followed.

But from what I learnt, the minute any FI approves a DCP, they will update the DC Registry and no other FI can give approval from that point onwards.
