but i think next week u should have answer on this already since 2 weeks of processing is over.

It might be another week of endless hope. If next week they ask for more docs then there will be more waiting time to come. Suddenly felt low morale and hopeless after being told in processing. Time is running out

well doubt will ask for more docs unless yours is a complicated one.

Go home and fill up applications and submit on Monday. Was told my case he can expedite it as I have a pending approval.told me to go for 5 yrs instead of 4 which I did with hsbc.
Within a week will know outcome the rate is same as HSBC.

Yeah they will call u most probably on Monday. Who cares about one applications at a time, we only care about approvals. Who approval first who earn the interest.

quite true though, i shall apply to Maybank too sometime next week then.

How many yrs u took? My monthly repayment is more than half of my full time take home pay even though I do have part time income.

Citi rly fast. Approval letter and new CC is here. Credit limit is 1 x monthly income, rounded down to nearest 100.

Mine rejected by BOC already. Call just now and ask.
Perhaps will try citibank and see..
Spoke to ocbc... told me to try foreign bank. If still get rejected then shd just concentrate to pay off slowly

OCBC if u are like 12 - 14X then can look to try

not only that your rating, repayment pattern, other financial commitment must be good/low.

their risk appetite and checks are very stringent.

no point trying OCBC IMO.

Saw that you are at those 12-13X, think your HZ rating is causing you issue though.

Either that or the bank calculation your DTI is below 12X

Bro did you check CBS if HSBC submitted an inquiry for new application for your ** report?

I just checked and see that HSBC submitted an inquiry for new application on 17 March. Product type is DC, account type is joint.

Funny thing is i was rejected by SCB earlier when I applied for 10 years tenure. I realize they submitted a new inquiry on 5 March but somehow the product type is credit card.

Any news from HSBC so far?

In mid feb hsbc processing time was 7 days now i guess too many applications

Yes started and the best part is they(HSBC) over pay the balance. Very stupid of them...now how am i going to claim back the over payment when the account is suspended? Think they use the 2 months ago statement which we submitted figures to settle. During the waiting period, we will be still making paying and they(HSBC) don't know....
