I notice that BOC uses AIR not EIR. What's the difference between Applied and Effective (is there even a difference?)

I alwayd use flat rate. 4.5-5 is consider good deal.
So if i take a loan of 100K then interest per year will be 5% of 100K which is 5K.
If u take loan for 5 years then interest 25K.
Total loan w interest is 125K.
Monthly will be 125K divide by 60months.

decided to try boc for the dcp...just submitted my docs via email.

hoping for the best!

All the best. 3 days later they shld contact if any missing doc. 5 days later. Chk w BoA. Normally the sales person will be slower than processing dept. I did my chk on my own bank acct then saw early repayment so dcp is approved.

thanks for the advice bro, and congrats on your approval :s12:

previously tried citi's dcp, but was notified 2 days ago that it was unsuccessful. the cso said she'd resubmit for review, but i asked her to put it on hold first, since the EIR for 7-year tenure is around 10.7% pa, while BOC EIR for 7-year is 9.93% pa based on the application form. prepared the docs for citi like siao though, hopefully the BOC one should be a smoother process...
