I took 5 when I reapplied. The guy said better also. Mine is a little bit under half my monthly take home pay. Ok la clear faster and I calculated I'll save close to 10k if I take 5 instead of 7.

The most important part is to get approval rather than having to pay high interest monthly

Hi bros and sisters,

I have a problem here!
I have two ongoing applications with DBS and HSBC. Now I am stuck and I do not know what to do. I applied with DBS after HSBC because I thought that the CSO has died lol. Then all of a sadden she called me and asked for the Form again! Not sure if they are processing it or she just bluffed me! Anyway DBS seems to be serious and the CSO called me several times and informed that she has submitted my application and I should get an update in at least 15 days. I'll keep you updated. Cheers.

Approval from one of the banks will override any other applications you have. That's why they limit to one actually. They scared people spam applications then waste time. *ahem ahem* HSBC will ask you when you submit if you're applying or have applied with other banks though.

Just a random thought - those who applied for DCP, do you think the bank will contact your employer to run any checks? Hmm.

Not rly, they cross check the CBS report you provide as well.

To get the CBS reports, do you think the best timing will be 1st of every month? For example, if I we purchase the report now and log in, it will only show up to Jan 31 data, almost more than 1.5 months lag, which is quite outdated right?
Lets say if we wait until 1st April, we will get updated data (until Feb 28), 1 months lag only.

I asked the HSBC CSO she said that they do not call employers and that this is a personal matter for the employee.

Thanks bro. I will take note of the green form submission & extra blue forms..would also ask the guy about my situation and chances of going for expedited counselling. Regardless whether I am eligible for expedited counselling or not, I will still submit my application by hand on Thurs..

Remember to submit green form, take blue form, and ask the guy about expedited counseling. All the best.

Citi said they will call me within 3 biz days so I expect some news on Wed.

HSBC didn't even bother to call back. Dunno if declined, or under review. They are wasting my time.
