Hi all,
This thread is for sharing and interpreting temple lots (解签) you may have drawn from places such as Bugis Temple, Guang Min Shan, or other temples in Singapore.
We will help to interpret the following systems: 观音100灵签, 60甲子签, and 雷雨诗100灵签.
Drawing lots or using sheng beis (two red wooden blocks) is not about predicting the future. It is a way to seek guidance when you feel lost or at a crossroads, unsure of which path to take.
Before asking Guanyin or the temple deity for advice, it is important to be clear about your question. Do not approach without an idea or plan in mind. For example, you might ask which job or field suits you, or whether you should leave your current job.
-----------------------------
So which tools to use? Lots or Sheng beis (2 red wooden blocks)?
a. To use Sheng beis aka 2 red wooden blocks when:
The questions that you are asking belongs to yes, no, can, cannot or whether option 1, 2,3 is better = Use sheng bei to ask no need draw lots.
b. To draw lots when:
Your questions cant be answered using sheng beis like a. above.
Example: If advice what should i take note, what should i do, whats the advice for me if i wish..
1) For the SOP to draw lots, you can read up HERE
2) For the SOP to use 2 red wooden blocks to ask questions aka phua bei or sheng bei, you can read up HERE
3) For sample/example of asking about relationship related questions, you can read up HERE
4) For sample/example of asking about career related questions, you can read up HERE
5) For myth and "hear say" about drawing lots, you can read up HERE
When you gotten the lots from the temple, you can post your questions asked and the lot received in this thread, either me or @mgx-alander will decipher for you.
Apologies and thank you for your patience if I don’t reply the same day. I work full-time and also provide 紫微斗术 consultations, so replies may be delayed.
--------------------------
Please note: if the wrong method is used to ask a question, we will first advise you to read the guide in this post or thread.
We reserve the right not to assist with lot interpretation when the wrong method is used, as it will lead to inaccurate advice.
When posting, please provide the full context of your question to GYM. We cannot guess or “read minds.” Avoid giving only part of the story—be clear about what you asked GYM in detail.
-------------------------
We will not entertain questions that treat GYM like a fortune teller, such as asking “Will I get the job?” or similar predictive questions. Please note that this thread is for guidance, not fortune telling.
Please note that we will not interpret lots or questions that involve third parties, including siblings, unless it is an exceptional case.
Feel free to use above info but beware of karma if one claims its his/her work without my acknowledge.
