They last about 3 - 5 hours idle mode. On full load, 1.5 - 2 hours. With the brightness tuned all the way up.

I've never heard of anyone getting a mild electrical pass through on a laptop before. How did it happen may I know? Does it happen frequently and on AC power?

ya its on ac power. At e metal area below e keyboard for my dell xps 1530. Its especially painful like pricks at e corners.

Yeah I guess so. But it's weird that this is happening. I would suspect poor grounding issues from the AC to the mobo itself.

HELP! OS fail to start....

eh nd every1's help here,any help will be greatly appreciated...my 1420 today i press the mediadirect button juz to listen to music, den later i shut it off using the power button. den awhile later i try booting up my system again i CANT! the OS load awhile den giv me black screen..suspect sth to do with the damned mediadirect...wtf tua zong...
