Hello all, new to Dell.

How does PC restore work and what does it do?

I use a thinkpad at the moment and there is an access ibm blue button that allows you to reformat the drive and reinstalls windows (with a lot of drivers and other things missing). Does anyone know if pc restore works the same way for Dell?

mmm is the inspiron 1420 graphic card upgrade to nvidia geforce 8400ms sufficient for gaming, eg half life 2 those type? been comparing between dell and sony for some time and heard tat dell is definitely more worth for money.

Just bought my dell xps m1530 at pc show today.. Very nice and powerful notebook.

One of my keyboard button came off and can't fix back to flat position.

Any one knows which shop provide such repair service or change of the faulty button. ?

last mth got quote for 1420:- $1.3k; same specs @PC show w $200 more, i got extra - 1G ram, 90G HDD,128MB graphic, 3yrs war, nylon case.. buy @show is indeed better..

dell m1330 keyboard protector

hi guys,

recently i just bought a dell XPS m1330 at the PC show. I was wondering where to get the keyboard protector in SINGAPORE?

I prefer the keyboard protector which is silicone and designed specially for dell m1330.

I had a hard time finding it in singapore.

Anyone can help or advise?
