Dell Studio 15

Hi may i ask anyone using Dell studio 15? Is it good for home and basic gaming which does not involve online gaming. Just football manager and rpg games? Or any advice on other model which will not exceed 2k. Thanks.

erm parts as in? rams? hdd? cd-drive? keyboard?

rams/hdd can be replaced by yourself, by buying at sls. for others maybe have to contact dell

That was my problem too when I wanted to have a Dell laptop I bought overseas repaired. The laptop was out of warranty btw.

Thinking of getting the Dell Inspriron 15 ; mainly for general office usages and internet browsing, not so much for games.
Would like to find out if anyone has used it before and like to highlight any concerns on the made-quality, heat, fan noise issues ?
Also, is the price ($1199) reasonable for the specs shown ?

Whatever you do, always up the warranty to 3 years accidental damage, not only for Dell, for whatever laptop too, but that depends on how much your lappy cost and how long u intend to use it before u switch. But get at least 2 years regardless cos you'll never know.

Spec wise its good for general office use but games has to depend on what kind, non graphical intensive, definitely ok la.

I think somewhere on the 4th or 5th floor u can get it change for around 80-200 depending on the severity of the damage. Someone i know changes it before but i can't remember the shop name. Go walk around, a few shops does it.
