256MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570

with 6GB RAM


or

256MB Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT

with 4GB RAM

Would be much smoother ?

so i went out to buy a 160gb sata HDD but now i cant boot the DVD-rom drive to install OS


is it the A09 BIOS does not recognise 160gb size sata HDD?

hi i am using win vista/dell studio xps 16 lappy.


when i try to rename a file in desktop/windows explorer, as i type the caps lock to try to change case, the result is as if i just pressed the ENTER key.. this is very fustrating..

googling yields no result.. any one noes of any solution?

hey guys, i own a dell inspiron 1420. 2days ago i was using my laptop then the graphcs suddenly got messed up ..then it hanged. i did a force reboot but it wont start up..hours later when it finally started up , same thing happened again after awhile ..(even after windows did a restoration) the error was a display error from a file. im glad im able to start up in safe mode now ..

could it be my gfx card burnt ? should i bring down to dell service centre and change one ?

ok now. how do i contact a dell customer service officer ? i tried calling the 1800 number, and after i keyed in my service code , it said that my warranty has expired and told me to press '1' to extend my warranty or '2' to end the call. so it means that without warranty i cant get any technical support from dell ?

is there a dell service centre in singapore ? seems like a scam to 'force' me to extend my warranty with them
