Oh ok. Anyway how to transfer files btw lappy and desktop other than using an external HD ah? Any cables that can connect to the lappy and the comp?

Thats provided u got buy the complete cover warranty... the basic warranty that comes with the laptop is only phone support...

got... next tuesday or wednesday cos i call in 2 days ago to buy additional optical mouse and 1 year complete cover... then they cancel order and redo a new order... :s22:

icic... anyway find some dead pixels on e lcd on my 700m. Its actually not obvious unless i use e dead pixel checker to check. but got at least got 6.... nw in dilemna. i scare tt ltr change liao, got even worse pixels

by the way i think i will reinstall the os when i get the lappy... so do i need to reactivate my win xp pro?

Just like to check with 700m users, if i want to display e volume indicator whenever i adjust it thru e keyboard. Wat is e software tt i nd to d/l? can't seem to find it anywhere, i onli know last time it's called quickset, u r able to c e brightness n volume indicator when u adjust it thru e keyboard

Dead pixels? Then how? Can change? Anyway Dell just called me to say they will be sending my lappie on Fri. heh

good 4 u!!! Its not tt obvious unless i go bery near to e lcd, so i guess i just stick wif it for a few mths n c wat happen b4 i decide whether to change anot

about 6 dead pixels but not obvious. Called up dell n they say able to change 4 me but i tink i observed a few mths 1st b4 i decide whether to change anot

change it now. please dont think you can live with it because its an eyesore hehe.

hahaha... e prob is i can't c it even when i watch movie, its only when i stick my face to e lcd, den i will c it cox it's not tt noticable.

I'm more afraid tt i will get a worse wan after changing. Anyway previously, i own a acer travelmate, it oso has a super duper dead pixel n it was such an eyesore. But i cun change it becox only 1 dead pixel so i live with it for 2whole yr. It's just e way hw u look at it ba....

Shall stick with it until it becomes an eyesore... lol
