i got one extra set of battery now (haven do charginging, still in packaging)... what if i decide not to use it for the time being till my current battery dies... is it advisable?

no point...the clock is already ticking...just use both now...if you dont need the extra batt, you should have bought it only after the first one died.

CANNOT VIEW FULLSCREEN

hai guys,

I bought INSPIRON 6000 in the COMEX.

When i watch movie , even though i select the 'FullScreen' option , i see black space at both the sides in my Wide Screen with the picture in the middle.

Any solution for this.

i believe its the mode that you are viewing... use your Power DVD software to adjust it.

It can also be your BIOS setup. Try here if the PowerDVD doesnt work.

Yeah, I'm having the same problem.

My movies are not playing in wide screen.

Tried changing settings in PowerDVD but don't know what to change.

Bios also blur man.

Actually, you can also try calling Dell, you paid for it!! I'm sure they will guide you step by step over the phone.

Any Dell M700 user tried installing fedora core 4 ?


1.) It seems that my fedora core cannot detect my sound device everytime when i click test theres no sound coming out from it but it did detect my hardware as it did show what sound card i am using .

Have already check the Alsa mixer turn up all the volume but it still cant play any sound hopefully someone mightbe able to identify where i had gone wrong thanx .

700m users: got any problems switching display to monitor? when i press fn-f8 the laptop screen just flickers once and nothing else happens.
