can someone answer my question please,

by adding a wwan card on my m1330 and call the ISP to provide 3G service, i can surf anywhere without having to worry if i can find a wireless network outlet like mac donald in singapore?
Yes you can surf anywhere. You need to subscribe to broadband on mobile with one of the telcos. A usb modem will be give so you don't really need to buy one, unless you have some spare $$$$$.:D

if i travel to china and indonesia, i can surf net too?
If you can afford the charges $$$ No problem.

how good is the connection and where to get wwan card for my m1330?
what is the procedures i need to take to make everything work?

How good is the connection is very much depends on quite a number of factors, like signal strength, nos of users on an APN etc.... Check this thread http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/showthread.php?t=1823249

Need help with memory expansion

I'm using an Inspiron 710m bought in 2005. But I only have 512MB SDRAM. If I want to buy new RAM to add on (there is an expansion slot for RAM at the back), which type of RAM should I buy?

I think my current RAM is 512MB 333MHz PC2700 DDR SDRAM. I don't suppose I can use DDR2 SDRAM right? Please help.

Simply speaking, the laptop was made to use DDR-1 333MHz rams. You can use DDR-1 400MHz rams but they will run at 333 also. You cannot use DDR-2 rams.

There are 2 slots inside your Inspiron 700m, the primary slot is under the keyboard.
Be careful with the keyboard bezel if you are removing it to get to that memory slot.

hi, anyone know where's the RAM slots for Dell XPS M1530? both RAM slots are at the back? cos i've seen a RAM fixing guide on a certain Dell laptop (not sure which model) and 1 RAM slot was at the back, while the other 1 was under the keyboard...

any information from XPS M1530 users?

no doubt, 32-bit OS will only register 3.2GB - 3.5GB of DDR2, but it's running dual channel... or should i get just 1 X 2 GB DDR2 to make it 3GB RAM (running single channel then)... my current RAM config would be 2 X 1GB DDR2... which is more worth it, I'm really unsure...

You should get the ram in pair if you wanted to run DDR.
