DELL STREAK USERS COME IN !!!

Because i often deal with some guys overseas. They always sell all these stuff. Sometimes they will ask me if i want to get one.

I brought in iPhones the very 1st version from them and some Game console b4 SG launch.

Recently they ask if im intrested in STREAK.

Hi, do they give you better price ? how the streak ?

Yeah i suppose so. I duno how they get all these. Cant be water goods coz i can still register those online. Even things like Nespresso they can get it.

lorettatay, can i ask you which ebay store did you get your streak, i found 2 store both price about 1100, but of course not yet add gst. Don't know if can ask them to send as gift so won't have to pay gst...haha

upgrade streak from 1.6 to 2.1

i m trying to upgrade my streak from 1.6 to 2.1.
so i have reached the stage where i get the fast mode screen on my dell.
on my laptop when i run the install-superboot-win i got a pop-up menu.
the last statement was <waiting for devic.>afterwhich it just stays like that.
any advice for me to proceed.

pt . 6 will guide u how to get the android v 1.0 in yr pc which is the reason y it cant be detected in the first place.

In term of 3G speed both iPhone 4 and Dell are about the same, furthermore this is subjective to 3G coverage. However in term of web page rendering/loading, Safari is much faster.

Anyway I'm still loving my Dell Steak for the big 5" screen at the moment

I think with Froyo 2.2, the rendering page is much faster than safari. so hope you can upgrade to 2.2 and give it a try.

after going on 2.2, you'll find 2.1 v sucky.

Thanks.. i do not use itunes to sync music so that is perfectly fine. i dont play games on my iphone so as long as there is basic apps like twitter and facebook and able to watch youtube videos... im perfectly alright.

remember this, Android can play RMVB files directly (no need conversion). you may not even wan to watch utube anymore. heh...

Hmm.. Gadgets.. Sometimes im offered Dev sets of these gadget. Or those pre released. Prototype. I never ask where they get them. But well.. these ppl work closely to the jailbreak team ppl i heard. lol
