i connect to desktop with usb cable, den tick the tether button
but cant connect to net leh, wats wrong

How to use Dell Streak 7 as a modem:

1. Connect your tablet to your computer using a USB cable.
2. On your tablet, from any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
3. Tap Settings.
4. Tap Wireless & networks.
5. Tap Tethering and Wi-Fi Sharing.
6. Tap to select the USB tethering check box.

When these steps are finished on Dell Streak 7, the tablet starts sharing its mobile network data connection with your computer via the USB connection

i did the above steps, but no internet connection??

use adwlauncher or launcherpro, no need root either.

Tried a few times and stuck in dell logo.

Or have anyone tried to root 33313-eu successfully ?

Now I am getting confused about the versions and builds.

So besides from looking at the Android version(mine is 2.2.2 anways), what else do we look out for? the kernel version? OEM version? Baseband version? Build number?

May i know where to check if I am on 333 or 354? and which is the latest official and most stable firmware?

Settings->About Phone.
There's a Baseband Version (i.e. GAUSB1A133313). The last two digits is your region/build manufacturer id. The three digit before (333) is the baseband version.

And on the very bottom theres "Build number" (i.e. 14577).

So far I use, don't have much problem ba. Only if like open too many apps at one go then will lag and auto restart like any other android phones... Oh... and the only real problem I have is that the hands-free they give don't work so well... lol... maybe my hands-free is is a lemon piece ><

Dell streak does not have an online warrantly. All you need is to keep the receipt you bought from challenger etc as a warrantly.

Can you can do to your phone is, do a restore to your phone which means all data saved in phone deleted and immediately download another launcher from the market once after restore is make.
