u mean usb debugging mode? dun think u need that.
try again bro. entering fastboot u wont even get to see any dell logo. try holding camera button 1st then power up? either way.
if die2 cannot. use streakflash and then use qdl tool to recover ur streak

To enter fastboot, when the phone is off, you press the power button together with the camera button.

The screen will change to a white screen that says "Touch Calibration and "Fastboot". Tap fastboot.

Next you will now see "Wait for USB FastBoot detect....". Wait for at least ten seconds then connect your USB (i take it that you pc has the usb driver to detect your streak already).

After connecting your usb cable, the screen should display "FASTBOOT_MODE"

From here you run the "MultiRecoveryFlasher" download from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1000455 and type "sr" and hit enter to flash the StreakModRecovery which will have the nanodroid backup, and allow you to use my download to restore to a fresh new installation of simplestreak 1.2

I finally got my streak to work!

Now with simple streak 1.2 and it's way better than before!

If you don't one to use custom rom, then you need to:

1a. Root your phone using gingerbreak downloaded from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1044765.
1b. Once you download the apk, copy it into your sdcard.
1c. Go to settings->applications and tick "Unknown sources" then select "Development" and tick "USB Debugging".
1d. Next you need to have some file manager application (I use file expert, download from market) to install the apk. Just tap the apk and it will install.
1e. Once installed, look for gingerbreak and tap it, then follow the instruction and your phone will be rooted.

2. Once rooted, you can download "Root Uninstaller" (free version allows limited uninstallation) or "AnTek App Manager Root" from the market which will allow you to remove those preinstalled applications.

Please do a backup before proceeding!

Using custom rom will enhance your streak experience, just my 2cents.

My simple streak drains battery much faster than the stock ROM. When I was on stock Froyo, after an overnight charge, I browsed for 1 hour it only went down <10%. But on simple streak 1.2, it was left with about 85%.

Does anybody know why? The new Facebook? The performance update? How to monitor the current drawn, any app?..

Anyone noticed that the marketplace is missing the POSB MBANKING APP?

Or is it just me?

I realized what may be causing the problem of me not being able to find the POSB app in the marketplace.

My guess is that my region is set to English(United States), that's why I can't Singapore based apps.

Anyway to fix this?
