Just download old one and install. Remember to delete new market than install old one.

Need some help with dell streak

bro, maybe you can help me with my streak. i want to flash a new custom rom because i accidentally deleted the system dialer. and i lost all my connections. i factory reset it and it make it worse. now im stuck on the "touch the screen to continue" window.. im using a mac air and i cant find how to do this using it.. help..

Fastboot mode, recovery mode, flash recovery, streakmod recovery or Clockwood recovery are few key words to understand before you start play with rom. All answer at xda developers. Cheers.

Helps me a lot when I started out.... If unsure just ask before doing anything..

Fastboot = Hold power button + camera button till white dialer screen popup with the word 'fastboot' at the top. Press 'fastboot' and wait 10 sec before connecting to pc. Once connected properly there will be 'FASTBOOT MODE' on bottom left of the screen.

Recovery mode = Hold vol up & vol down while pressing power button till 4 option comes up
1. Factory reset
2. Update from sd card (pkg)
3. Screen calibration
4. Power off

Flash recovery = using fastboot mode to flash original recovery image before uodate original pkg.

Streakmod recovery = needed to be flash thru fsstboot mode before the streak is able to install custom rom. Once flash with fastboot use vol up + vol down while powering on then select update from sd card. This will bring the streak to another screen with a dell logo with an exclamation mark with lots of option.

Clockworkmod = nt recommended as its unstable for Streak.

Note: To navigate in Recovery / Streakmod use the vol up & down. Press the camera button to select the highlighted option.

These are just some info from my experience so apologies if I gt it wrong. Hope this helps.

Finally jump onto the ROM bandwagon as my Streak warranty is expiring in Jan12. Using the DSC v0.61b now with ICS theme. No turning back , running much faster and lower batt consumption. Would have done earlier if not for the warranty thingy.
Another good thing for this ROM is the installation instructions are all written clearly (necessary for noobs like me) from first upgrading the baseband to the ROM itself. Hope you guys can try it.

Btw how many of you still holding on to your streak

Me..!! Still holding on to streak too.. Real sorry to ask you but is there a link that you can post here or pm me with regards to rooting and flashing into the same ROM as yours? I did try to search but I think my eyes have failed me...lol

dell streak won't charge

Hi all,

just got a dell streak a few days ago, while testing the set, it seemed fine. but with the batt almost die.

after i got home, the batt had already drained out so i plugged it into main. it perhaps started to charge and startup but it stuck on the dell screen logo.

after that i took out the battery since it hung there for so long.

then it stuck at a screen showing a battery with 0% and exclamation mark and would then off again.

does anyone know what to do with this?

it is a starhub set and still under warranty but where should i go? to dell or starhub?
