I have been using samsung p2370 for quite awhile. I wonder if it's worth to upgrade to Dell u2412m or use them side by side. Is the difference very noticeable?

I brought this monitor last week; but now having problem with "DVI cable not getting signal" when connecting to my macbook pro (2011 early model) via thunderbolt -> DVI. Any idea guys??

I just use a normal VGA cable with my alienware m15x laptop and hook it up to this monitor. Displays fully 1920 x 1200.
No need what DVI, HDMI, displayport etc.
VGA cable ftw.
