Woah Dell service is fast. Ordered yesterday, Called me jus now to tell me delivery will be tomorrow.

I brought this monitor last week; but now having problem with "DVI cable not getting signal" when connecting to my macbook pro (2011 early model) via thunderbolt -> DVI. Any idea guys??

btw can this monitor used on ps3?

Yes, via HDMI -> DP or HDMI -> DVI cable. Audio passthrough is pointless since the U2412M doesnt have built-in speakers.

To get audio you will need to use the composite cables.

Its a good business decision. Probably less demand for wide gamut 24" monitor now that the U2711 is so much cheaper now.

If a pro was buying a monitor for professional use, the pro would go for U2711 not the U24xx.

If the U2412 has the same image quality as the U2311 it'll be fine for most users.

Based on the price now .... 2 x Dell U2412M is still more pocket friendly to go. When U2711 hit $700 .... then it would be time to go for it liao.
