Hello buddies, any suggestions for dentists at either CBD/raffles place, or North East? I have chipped tooth / molar and probably will need root canal for another molar soon, so looking for dentists good in that.

Hello, I am looking to clean moi teeth and fix some X on moi teeth with fillings. Anyone here gotch any reccoms for reliable and reasonable service? Last 2 times did moi fillings but they fell out so haven't been to a dentist for 1-2 years. Preferably in East area...

Is the dentist still aval? I have a important thing to ask. My retained root was done but they charged double. The retained root affected is #36
but they give 2 bill #35 and #36. #35 was never touched or mention during ops. What ways can i go about if they say is correct. And who can i approach for such dispute?

I am having a dental appointment with Dr Jaclyn Toh at Elite Dental Group on Monday for dental veneers and smile makeover. Reviews on Google seem positive. I did a quick Google search and she seems to be an expert in cosmetic dentistry and restorative dentistry.
Saw her Instagram account if anyone is interested. Her restorations of teeth are so beautiful. I am impressed. Can check out her Instagram account here: www.instagram.com/dr_jaclyntoh/
The consultation costs are $180 and include the full spectrum of X-rays. The clinic wanted me to come in earlier last week and get a reduced consultation cost, but I was not free then, so meh.
Will update the forum on the experience.

Had a dental consultation with Dr Jaclyn Toh on Monday for dental veneers and had a really professional and pleasant experience with her. I have heard about her stellar reputation to be extremely detailed and I must say, I am not disappointed.
Costs
The costs at Elite Dental Group is almost 20 - 35% higher than a typical heartland dental clinic, but you are paying for the guarantee that what you wish for is what you will be getting. Imagine paying top dollar to visit Nobu, over visiting a chain dollar-sushi outlet.
The only issue I had was the ridiculously long appointment waitlist there was. The average waiting time is 2.5 weeks for a consultation (with no treatment done). Under normal circumstances, I would have found other quicker options but I have heard too many horror stories about the impact of bad dental veneers and Dr Jaclyn came highly recommended by multiple friends.
Although the waiting time was a slight turn off for me initially, I got why Dr Jaclyn was in such hot demand later. I guess good things need to wait.
Each of the dentists in the clinic have a distinct focus. E.g. Dr Jaclyn Toh focuses on cosmetic dentistry like dental veneers and smile makeovers, while Dr Gerald Tan focuses on complex dental implants. I believe there are two other dentists, one who focuses on sports dentistry and another who works on simple dental implant cases.
Experience
Mind you, the clinic is NOT one of those swanky ones like T32 with huge real estate space and tons of leg room. For a clinic in the central, the appearance of the clinic is pretty modest and not over the top. It does not look like a corporate clinic either. My partner mentioned how it looks very much like a cosy house with a huge screen and friendly receptionist staff.

The consultation with Dr Jaclyn Toh is about 45 mins long. I was quite taken aback by the length of the consultation when I first booked the appointment for my partner and I. Before this, I have never been to a dentist who takes more than 15 mins on a consultation.
During the consultation, she took a series of detailed photographs of my teeth and took the time to run through what I needed to do before I could work on my veneers. She also showed me case studies of work she had done previously, which are elegantly done and so beautiful. When placed in comparison with other examples I have seen, I am so glad that I have gone with my gut and went to Dr Jaclyn instead.
Dentist
Dr Jaclyn is a soft-spoken dentist with deep knowledge of how to achieve different cosmetic outcomes. She is intense and passionate about the work she does, and exhibits that from the moment I am in her dental chair to the moment I am having a discussion with her on my teeth, the outcomes, the roadmap, and the possible complications. If I had a dentist like her previously, I would never reschedule my dental appointments.
I am scheduled to do Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) in a week's time before I start on my treatment plan.
Pretty exciting to see how the eventual treatment turns out.
