CPU cooler wise is Cooler Master Hyper 212 series but the Bequiet perform better.

$800- $900 for Intel i7 with motherboard and RAM?

Try the game first. Not to you liking then upgrade cpu. At 1080p you should see improvements with a cpu upgrade. Then maybe a gpu if there are.

If you want to save money, can opt for Intel i5.
Take note unlike previous gen i5 and i7 there are difference in performance since
intel 6th gen only i7 have hyper threading.

10/11th gen onwards all Intel CPU have hyper threading, difference is i5 is 6 core and
i7 is 8 core.
Not all games can utilize 8 cores and some are GPU bound.

EDIT: I think there the 11400 has the Graphic Chipset inbuilt?. If I have a existing graphic card already, the 11400F / 11700F should work fine ?

The F behind these models means no integrated graphics and cheaper.
IGP will be useful if you are not gaming and in case if GPU have issues.
F variant of these CPU will do fine for gaming.

Do note that should your gpu have issues and you want to troubleshoot it, you may not be able to do it with a F cpu as it will not be able to output a video signal. Unless you have an extra working gpu lying around etc, it may be difficult to troubleshoot.

I'm using a 10700 with a Asus Strix B560-A and a GTX1070. And yes, you can change to a RTX3070. You can in fact change to any of the gpus in the future like RTX4000 too. Your only concerning factor is your psu supply.

Yes, definitely. You don't have to worry.

Upgrading is simple with ddu installer, physically replace the card and installing the drivers for it! Make sure you install the OS correctly, UEFI mode etc etc so that when you upgrade in future, you can enable resizable bar. Of course, it has the depend if the mobo supports it.

Oh yes, you may wish to stick with other brands, away from GB for now. They had a randomware attack about 2 weeks ago and their website got ruined. A lot of drivers, QVL support list etc directed to nowhere so from that aspect, you could face some issues.

No idea if they have reverted and re-linked the links or not though.

Good choice on the cpu. IMHO its good to have at least 8 cores which the 11700 has. Games these days tend to do better with higher core count.

PS: Am using a Z490 mobo from GB.

mostly just price, which in turn affects most other aspects of the board like features and vrm capability. there is an added dimension of consideration for b560 boards though, as the more budget oriented boards have enforced power limits, presumably due to weaker vrms and/or product segmentation. u can take a look at this video for a general guide.

one of the recommendations happens to be the asus tuf model as techidiot also mentioned, but i believe u can find another recommended board, the gigabyte aorus pro for cheaper. if not worried about power limits and just need a barebones board, can get the msi ones.
