Digital lock gurus,

I'm looking to install a set of digital locks for my place. (HDB resale) Please advise if there are any brands/models in the market that meets my requirements:

1. Able to set at least 5 pass codes.
2. Able to set at least 5 fingerprints.
3. Able to delete individual pass codes/fingerprints.

how often do you have to change the battery for such locks?

I just bought a Samsung 728, seller said by right every 6months should change once but she recommended putting only 4 out of the 8 batteries in the slots at the back and changing every 3months so we don't forget... Or something like that.

I got the Yale 323g and samsung 505

Question yale cards i can programme to open 2 doors but not the sumsung cards or chips or tags.

Any way i can do it ?

I dun like cards but prefer chips/tags/stickers to open both ... anywhere i can find to do this ? pm if sensitive ....

Need Help

If anyone uses Yale YDD424?

I have bought 1 unit intend to DIY. In the box, I found a part looks like a remote or some module thingy.

Is a black colour plastic with a cable dangling. Cannot post image. Is not in the User Manual

I have been searching high and low in Google. But there is no indication what is this and how is it use?

Anyone can advise?

Digital Locks

Hi
can share your experience on digital locks?

My budget is about S$300~.

Looking for one that is not too bulky looking and user friendly. I have both the gate and the main door.

Finger prints negligible as i have very faint finger prints (can't pass thru Airport's Customs auto scan gantry most of the times).

unless ur gate has no/ v narrow grilles if not I think you can reach in to open the digital lock.

I thought those designed for gates need to be opened using a remote (if you are opening from the inside)?

I remember there’s no knob to turn from the inside to unlock it.

The only ‘concern’ i can think of is that you’ll still have to reach for your keys to unlock the wooden door which sort of defeats the purpose of the digital lock. Unless of course you don’t intend to lock the wooden door for most of the time.

True use remote. The back digital lock panel will further be protected/covered with a metal box plate secured with normal key.
