Finally, settle for the Loghome LH-600SKN for my main wooden door and the LH-600MG for the metal gate

AN DIGITAL LOCK will be coming to install tomorrow.

I had a really bad experience a few days back. I forgot to lock my doors when I left my house. That's when I found my keys missing upon reaching the office. Luckily I called my neighbor to check and she said I did not lock the 3 locks for the main wooden door, metal gate and the padlock for the metal gate. The keys were in the metal gate padlock. Having a set of backup keys will not be of help here if the doors are not locked.

One advantage of the Loghome is that it comes with 4 options to open the door

1) Fingerprint
2) Password
3) RFID card
4) Master key

As one ages his/her fingerprint will fade. Also, if you rent your rooms out then using fingerprint will be better than using password/RFID card since fingerprint cannot be passed on to others
photocopy fingerprints and then show on scanner to unlock - possible to occur? I think some possibility there.

Hi everyone, I’ve been looking for a digital door lock for main door for quite sometime but still can’t find one that is like a car with keyless entry.

It detects you’re nearby and unlock automatically.
Meaning i just have to do ONE, single action to unlock the door.
If i am not mistaken, even the high-end Samsung models need 2 step right?
1. Scan finger print
2. Push the door

Is there something like that in the market?
Closest I could find is HAFALE door lock which has fingerprint reader at the handle...

My house requires a fire rated door. Is it true that if you want to change the lock, you need to change the whole fire rated door again? Cause I heard from the guy who helped us install our bedroom doors that government say that if change the fire rated door’s lock, the fire rating is no longer counted. Is it really true?

I'm on EPIC 7G. Works great. Bought spare cards from online seller also registers fine.

The design is not too bad just the fingerprint sensor is 'lower' opposed tot he 6G which is higher.

Using both 7G for gate and door since 3rd Nov 22. Family enjoys leaving house without worry of forgetting keys. Why don't top up to 7G? I was on 6G gate, 5G door, I added additional and top up before the installation date.

Works fine for me, the only downside is it needs a powerbank for emergency unlocking vs a 9v if it runs dry. I'll just change the batteries ahead of time instead of draining it.

Been using starke digital lock on the door since may 2022 but find installing it on the gate redundant

We didn't choose this universal lock model because the technician said installing our desired chosen model would take 2-3h to install it due to the huge size ,so he recommended us to take this model since it is the same size as the HDB lock (should we revert back)

Comes with mechanical key,RFID tag, fingerprint scanner, mobile app, PIN code

Changed the AA size batteries after 1.5 year ,so far so good though there are like 2 misses out of 10 FGP scans

$500 nia
